The Heart Behind the Work
My journey into occupational therapy began with a deep passion for helping individuals live more independent, confident, and fulfilling lives. Earning my doctoral degree in occupational therapy provided the clinical foundation for this calling. From early on, I was drawn to the impact that meaningful support and guidance can have on a person’s ability to navigate everyday challenges. Over time, that passion grew into a commitment to not only improving physical abilities, but also restoring confidence, dignity, and a sense of control in daily life.

Over the past six years of working with a wide range of adults and children, I began to notice a pattern. While clinical settings can provide structure and support, the most meaningful and lasting progress often happens outside of those environments. Real life does not take place in a therapy room. It happens at home, in daily routines, and in the small moments that shape a person’s independence. I saw firsthand how important it was to meet clients where they are, both physically and emotionally.

That realization led me to focus on providing in home occupational therapy. By working directly in each client’s environment, I am able to better understand their unique challenges, routines, and goals. This approach allows therapy to feel more natural and more relevant, while also making it easier for progress to carry over into everyday life. It creates an opportunity to address real situations in real time, which leads to more practical and lasting results.

My goal is to provide care that feels supportive, personalized, and genuinely impactful. As a specialist in both pediatrics and lymphedema, I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable, understood, and motivated to grow. Whether I am working with a child developing essential skills or an adult working toward greater independence, my focus is always on helping each individual build confidence, strengthen their abilities, and take meaningful steps forward in their daily life.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief. Everyone deserves the opportunity to live as independently and confidently as possible, and with the right support, that progress is always within reach.
